Finn Arne Jørgensen (PhD Norwegian University of Technology, 2007) is Associate Professor of History of Technology and Environment at Umeå University in Sweden. He is the author of Making a Green Machine: The Infrastructure of Beverage Container Recycling (Rutgers University Press, 2011). In his current research he examines the points in which technology intersects with people’s experience and understanding of nature, on local and global scales.
