Audio-Visual Support for the Meeting

Thanks to SHOT-member David Hounshell and Carnegie Mellon University, all session rooms will be equipped with a digital projector.  If Projectior graphicyou plan on using PowerPoint, please bring a laptop computer and a cable that connects your laptop with the projector (Apple/Mac users, you must bring your own pigtail that works for your own laptop!). If you don't want to bring a laptop, then you are responsible for contacting the other participants in your session to ensure that at least one participant in your session will bring and allow you to use a laptop.  In addition, we will have two traditional overhead projectors with which you can show transparencies, and we will have on digital overhead projector that projects positives (text, photographs, drawings, etc.) Finally, we will have two 35mm Kodak carousel slide projectors and slide trays. We will have a spare PC and Mac laptop available for emergency situations in case of failure of the laptop that you and your fellow session participants have planned to use.  All this equipment will be available on a first come, first served basis, so you must make a specific request. To do so, email Larry Burke, who will be coordinating all projection equipment at the meeting.

IMPORTANT NOTE ABOUT INTERNET ACCESS!
The session rooms at the Hilton do NOT have wireless internet connectivity, so if you plan to show anything from the Web, you must download it ahead of time on your own computer for presentation.  (The Hilton has free wireless internet available in the public areas of the hotel and in the guest rooms.)
