The deadline for submitting proposals is 18 April 2021.

Proposals for complete sessions must include:

Each session proposal should be accompanied by an abstract that details:

  1. the session’s overall theme;
  2. each individual presenter’s contribution;
  3. the role of a commentator (if any);
  4. a diversity statement*;
  5. whether a given proposal desires “all or none”*;
  6. hybrid session requests and remote participation and/or presenter preferences, with explanation, if applicable*;
  7. whether any of the presenters are candidates for SHOT’s Robinson Prize;
  8. Overview of names, e-mail addresses, title op papers (if applicable) of organizer(s), chair, commentator (if any), presenters or panelists..

The session organizer should combine all elements into one pdf file with numbered pages. Please name this file with your last name and the word “proposal,” e.g., “smith_proposal.pdf “.

Proposals sponsored by one of SHOT’s special interest groups (SIGs) must note this in the session abstract.
