Transportation in Luxembourg is free (bus, train, tram). You can check all the necessary information on mobiliteit.lu (website of the Public Transport Administration), or CFL (website of the national railroad company).

From the airport to the Belval Campus (2, place de l’Université L-4365 Esch-sur-Alzette), you have different options:

Bus and train

From the airport to the Belval Campus, take bus number 29 or 223 to Luxembourg Central Station (Gare). From this station, take the train to the city of Rodange or Pétange. You’ll stop at Belval-Université. The estimate duration of the trip is 50min/1h.

Car (rental)

In the airport hall, you’ll find several renting companies :

UFO Drive.

Two paid parking lots are available on Campus: Parking Université and Parking Maison du Savoir (upon availabilities, operate on a first-come first-served basis for visitors). Another parking is available behind the train station on Campus: [P+R] Belval-Gare .

Taxi

If you consider using a, different companies are present on the market in Luxembourg. Webtaxi, Uber (via Webtaxi but on their own app), and Letzride (via their application).

When possible, please try to choose the eco or eDrive options with electric vehicles.

From your hotel to the Belval Campus, you can choose from:

Bike

For the environmentally conscious or those who enjoy cycling, Luxembourg offers bike rental services. While this option is less conventional and depends on your comfort with cycling longer distances, it can be an enjoyable way to travel. Luxembourg offers bike rental services : Vël’OK for Southern Luxembourg (including the Belval Campus) and Vel’OH for Luxembourg City.
