SHOT panels at the Annual AHA meeting in Chicago, January 3 – 6, 2019
Thanks to an arrangement SHOT has with the American Historical Association, SHOT members are invited to submit a full panel proposal for the AHA annual meeting in Chicago from January 3-6, 2019. The theme is ‘Loyalties’ and the deadline for submission is February 15, 2018. More information is available on https://www.historians.org/
The advantage of this arrangement is that you build a panel that we ask the AHA to include i.e. quality-control is in your hands. You must be a SHOT member in good standing to take advantage of this offer. You also have to be a member of the AHA to present at its annual meeting.
SHOT cannot support you financially but we do pay the fee to the AHA for having our panels included in their program.
Scott Knowles has kindly agreed to be the interface between SHOT and the AHA. Please submit full panel proposals to him, not to the AHA, and he will manage submission. In the event of more than 6 panels being proposed, Scott will make a choice on the basis of first-come, first-served.
