WITH 50th Anniversary
To commemorate the 50th anniversary of of the Special Interest Group WITH (Women in Technological History), we invite submissions for a proposed special section or supplemental issue of Technology & Culture dedicated to exploring the roles of women and the analytical category of gender in the history of technology.
We particularly welcome contributions that move beyond established geographic centers of scholarship. Submissions addressing non-U.S. and non–Western European contexts are especially welcome, including work on the Global South, Eastern Europe, Asia, Africa, Latin America, and transnational or comparative perspectives.
