Grants to offset the cost of registration for the SHOT 2020 Virtual Forum.

NSF Participation Grant

Description
The National Science Foundation sponsors these grants to help defray registration costs for the virtual forum. All grants will be paid as reimbursements, where a valid receipt has been submitted, after the conclusion of the event. Please note that funding is limited.

 Eligibility

• You may be registered with HSS or SHOT
• You must be a US citizen or enrolled at US institutions
• You must be a graduate student, recent PhD (received within previous five years), or independent scholar

SHOT Participation Grant

Description
The Society for the History of Technology sponsors these grants to help defray registration costs for the virtual forum. This grant is intended to cover applicants who are not eligible for the NSF Participation Grant listed above. All grants will be paid as reimbursements, where a valid receipt has been submitted, after the conclusion of the event. Please note that funding is limited.

Eligibility

• You must registered with SHOT (not HSS)
• You must be a graduate student, recent PhD (received within previous five years), or independent scholar
• You are not eligible for the NSF Participation Grant (see above)
