Individual Paper Proposals

Extended deadline for submissions is 24 April 2022

Individual abstracts may be submitted. However, the program committee will give preference to pre-organized session proposals, whether traditional, unconventional, assembled open sessions, and abstracts that cohere with other submitted individual abstracts.

Those scholars who might ordinarily propose an individual paper are encouraged to propose Open Sessions themselves or to join an Open Session. More information on Open Sessions you can find here.

Proposals must include

Individual abstracts should be 200-300 words in length and must include the paper title and the author(s)’s name, title, affiliation, and e-mail address(es). If you would like to be considered for the Robinson Prize, please be sure to indicate this in your abstract.

You can submit your proposal via the online submission platform. Please name your abstract file with your last name and the word “proposal,” e.g., “smith_proposal.pdf “.

Robinson Prize 2022

For Robinson Prize eligibility rules, click here.

• Candidates should mention their wish to be considered for the Robinson Prize in their paper proposal, and in the online submission form. In case the paper is part of a full or unconventional session proposal the organizer of the session should indicate this in the proposal and the online submission form.
• Upon submission of their proposals, those seeking to be candidates for the Robinson Prize must fill in the online Robinson Prize Application form. The link to the form will be posted here. By completing and submitting this form candidates confirm their desire to be considered for the award.
